DREAM THEATER: European Tour Dates Announced

DREAM THEATER has announced the following European tour dates:

Jun. 03 - Gods Of Metal Festival - Milan, Italy
Jun. 09 - Newcastle City Hall - Newcastle, England (headlining show)
Jun. 10 - Download Festival - Donington Park, England
Jun. 17 - Fields Of Rock Festival - Biddinghuizen, Netherlands
Jun. 22 - Plaza de Toros - Granada, Spain (headlining show)
Jun. 23 - Monsters Of Rock Festival - Zaragoza, Spain
Jun. 29 - Refresh The Venue - Istanbul, Turkey (headlining show)
Jul. 01 - Rockwave Festival - Athens, Greece

DREAM THEATER recently joined forces with Roadrunner Records on a new deal. The prog-leaning group's label debut, "Systematic Chaos", will arrive in June.

DREAM THEATER had spent its entire career on Elektra and Atlantic, an arrangement that ended with the 2005 studio album "Octavarium". According to Billboard.com, The group has sold 2.1 million CDs in the United States since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking data in 1991.

"This album's got all of the elements we've become known for," reveals drummer Mike Portnoy, who co-produced the album with guitarist John Petrucci. The disc sports seven new songs, one of which runs 25 minutes.
